Caramel Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1 cup milk
    2 cups white sugar
    3/4 stick butter
    Nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Brown the 1/2 cup sugar. Add
    the milk and sugar. Cook to soft ball. Remove from heat and beat by hand till cooled. Add butter and nuts. Pour onto buttered pie plate or pan.
