Hobo Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Russet potatoes, cut in 3/8 inch slices
    1 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried herbs of choice
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, cut into pieces
Preparation
    Tear off 2 pieces of heavy duty foil, about 18 inches each. Place one piece of foil on top of the other, then place sliced potatoes and chopped onion in center.
    Sprinkle with salt, herbs, garlic powder and pepper, toss to mix and dot with bits of butter. Bring two long sides of foil together, over food and fold edges over several times, to seal but allowing space inside for steam. Fold short ends up and pinch together to seal.
