Ingredients

2 c. light brown sugar
4 egg yolks
1/2 stick butter, sliced
2/3 c. sifted flour
2 c. milk
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour.
Add beaten egg yolks, milk and butter. Stir constantly over medium heat until filling thickens and boils. Remove from heat and cool. Pour into prepared crust and top with meringue.
