Nutty Green Beans(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Wash beans; remove strings.
    Cut beans into 1-inch pieces. Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Add water; cover and microwave at High 16 to 17 minutes, or until crisp-tender.
    Drain; keep warm.
    Place butter in a pie plate.
    Microwave at High 50 seconds, or until melted.
    Add pecans and remaining ingredients; microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes, or until onion is tender, stirring after each minute.
    Pour butter mixture over beans, tossing to coat. Yields 4 servings.
