Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. dill seed or some dill plant
    okra
    1 qt. brown vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Wash cucumbers about 6 inches long (as long as they are firm and fresh); leave whole and fill gallon jars.
    Pour unsalted boiling water over to cover; weight down with a cup or something. Each morning, pour liquid off into kettle and heat to boiling and pour back over cucumbers for four days.
