Dilly Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage, shredded
    2 Tbsp. bacon grease
    salt and pepper
    1/2 tsp. dill weed
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. white wine or water
Preparation
    Saute cabbage and onion in bacon grease.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer until tender.
