Hot Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. water
    1 1/2 lb. ground steak
    1 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1 small can tomatoes
    1 medium onion
    1/2 green pepper
    1/2 c. olives
    3/4 tsp. chili powder
    sprinkle of red and black pepper
Preparation
    Boil cornmeal, salt and water until thick and cool. Brown meat, onion and green pepper. Pour in tomatoes. Cook until mushy, about 1 hour. Add olives, chili powder and red and black pepper. Line deep pan with mush like pie crust; fill with meat mixture. Put mush crust on top. Add cheese. Bake until brown, approximately 45 minutes, at 375\u00b0.
