Semi-Sweet Frosted Brownies For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. softened butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
4 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 tsp. vanilla
1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Melt 4 squares of chocolate, being careful not to burn.
Set aside to cool.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, to butter mixture, beating well after each.
Blend in cooled unsweetened chocolate and vanilla.
