Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. broken pecans
Preparation
    Heat sugar and syrup to form smooth syrup.
    Remove from fire and stir in butter and Crisco. Add beaten eggs, vanilla and pecans. Stir until eggs are well blended into syrup mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and cook 30 minutes or until filling sets.
