Lemon Luncheon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. hot water
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 small Cool Whip
    2 c. very fine chopped celery
    3 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    1 c. ice cubes
Preparation
    To 2 cups hot water, add sugar and lemon Jell-O; chill until mixture has set slightly.
    Add mayonnaise, Cool Whip, celery, apples and nuts.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch glass dish; let set until firm.
    Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in water; add the ice cubes.
    Cool well.
    Pour over other mixture; cool several hours until set.
    Very colorful; goes well with chicken and pork.
