Nutty Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. large yams
approximately 1/2 lb. dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 lb. pecans or nuts
Preparation

Boil yams until soft.
Peel, cool and mash in mixer.
Blend in vanilla and sugar (to taste).
Chop and blend in pecans.
(No added liquid needed; freezing does not impair quality.)
