Banata Spinach Bread - cooking recipe

2 (10 oz.) frozen spinach
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cubed
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 onion, minced
1 large loaf Italian bread
Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation

Take sausage out of casing.
Fry sausage, garlic and onion until cooked.
Boil spinach; drain.
Add to sausage and saute 15 minutes.
Add Mozzarella cheese and melt.
Slice bread in 1/2 lengthwise; scoop out middle.
Place sausage mixture in scooped out bread halves.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Put halves together.
Wrap in foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes. Slice in pieces and serve.
