Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. shortening or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 c. tomato soup, in which 1 tsp. baking soda has been dissolved
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Blend shortening and sugar together.
Add tomato soup and soda.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to the first mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins.
Pour into loaf or tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
