Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beans
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1/4 lb. salt pork
1 tsp. dry mustard
scant tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Soak beans overnight; drain.
Cover with cold water and parboil them until skins burst.
Place salt pork and onion in bottom of pot.
Add beans and other ingredients.
Cover with water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly, then at 325\u00b0 for 5 hours.
