Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk or pineapple juice
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 (No. 2) can sliced pineapple
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Blend shortening, sugar and egg until fluffy.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with milk or juice to creamed mixture. Beat until smooth.
    Melt 4 tablespoons butter in bottom of pan. Add brown sugar; blend thoroughly and spread evenly in bottom of pan.
    Arrange pineapple slices over surface of mixture.
    Pour batter on top.
    Bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
