Spicy Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
2 c. shortening (part butter)
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
2 c. sour cream
8 c. flour
4 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. salt
colored sprinkles (optional)

Preparation

In a very large mixing bowl, cream sugar, shortening, vanilla and eggs.
Add sour cream, then all dry ingredients.
Blend well.
