Cherry Tortes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. drained sour cherries
    1 egg, well blended
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix first 6 ingredients together, then add cherries, egg and butter.
    Put in 13 x 9-inch floured pan.
    Bake 3/4 hour at 350\u00b0.
