Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. plain corn meal
3 eggs
pie crust
Preparation

Melt butter
in saucepan and slowly stir sugar into it. Mix vinegar with corn meal and add to mixture.
Slightly cool, add slightly
beaten
eggs.
Stir
well
and pour into pie pan lined with
uncooked
pastry.
Bake
at
425\u00b0
for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 275\u00b0 and cook for 40 minutes.
