Gram'S Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    dash of pepper
    1 qt. milk
    1/3 c. water, saved from cooked broccoli
    cheese to taste (about 1/2 c.)
Preparation
    Cook broccoli as directed on package; save 1/3 cup of water. In a large pot, combine butter, onion and flour; cook until thick. Blend in milk, gradually.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add broccoli and 1/3 cup saved water.
    Cook until heated.
    Add cheese and melt, to taste.
