Intoxicated Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut into pieces
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. Jack Daniel's whiskey
6 shallots, chopped or either 1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. minced parsley
1/4 c. water
1 c. heavy cream
Preparation

Salt and pepper chicken.
In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil; brown the chicken on both sides.
Add Jack Daniels and carefully ignite, shaking the skillet until flames go out.
Add the shallots and cook for 1 minute.
Add thyme, parsley and water; cover skillet and cook over low heat, turning occasionally, 25 to 35 minutes.
