Gingersnaps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
-
Cream shortening, brown sugar, molasses and eggs well.
Add remaining ingredients to creamed mixture.
Form dough into balls. Roll dough balls in white sugar.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 17 minutes. Yields 50 cookies.
