Aunt Marie'S Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    4 c. cucumbers, sliced very thin (leave skins on)
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/8 c. salt
Preparation
    Boil vinegar and sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Cool completely.
    Mix cucumbers, salt and onions.
    Let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours, then drain.
    Add vinegar mixture. Place mixture in a glass or plastic container and refrigerate. Keeps for a long time.
