Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) box pound cake mix
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    4 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (1 lb.) box xx sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, butter and 2 eggs.
    Stir until well blended. Beat one minute.
    Spread batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
    Beat in remaining 2 eggs and vanilla.
    Set aside 1/2 cup xx sugar.
    Beat remaining xx sugar into cheese.
    Pour over cake batter in pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake pulls away from side of pan.
    Cool for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sugar which was set aside.
