Black-Eyed Pea Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can jalapeno black-eyed peas
    1 bag (boil in bag) rice
    salt and pepper
    shredded cheese
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions on package.
    Brown ground beef.
    Drain well.
    Add peas, tomatoes and rice.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix well.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Heat until melted.
    Good with salad and corn bread.
