Pork Chop-Apple Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 thick chops (1-inch thick)
4 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. bottled steak sauce
4 large tart apples
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. hot water
Preparation

Brown chops in 2 tablespoons butter.
Arrange chops, 1 layer deep, in a baking dish.
Sprinkle steak sauce over chops.
Mix apple, lemon peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon juice and brown sugar. Spoon over chops; dot with remaining butter.
Add hot water. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, or until chops are tender.
