Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 green tomatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    3/4 c. flour
    oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Cut tomatoes into slices.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Put flour into a bowl.
    Coat tomatoes with flour, a few at a time. Cook in hot oil until done.
    (Cook on medium heat; don't overstir.)
