Mussels With Linguini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. mussels in shell (approximately 75 mussels)
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 onions, thinly sliced
    2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans Italian tomatoes, mashed
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
    1/8 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 tsp. dried basil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. red wine
    2 lb. linguini
    2 lemons, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Sort, scrub and rinse mussels.
