Coconut Cake(Delicious) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 oz.) butter flavor cake mix (Duncan Hines), cooked as directed on pkg.
    2 c. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
    1 1/2 c. whipped topping or 12 oz. carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package in 2 layers. Completely cool; split each layer in half.
