Banana Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large ripe bananas, peeled
    2 c. wheat bran cereal (not flakes)
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 egg
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    raisins (optional)
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, mash bananas (about 1 cup).
    Stir in cereal. Stir in milk and set aside.
    Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
    Beat in egg.
    Beat in bran cereal mixture.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add to mixture.
    Stir in raisins if desired.
