Ingredients

2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
5 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 tsp. salt
2 c. plain flour
Preparation

Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add buttermilk and oil. Combine dry ingredients and blend into the liquids.
Spoon batter on moderately hot grill or skillet.
Makes 4 generous servings.
