Ingredients

2 gallon sliced-peeled apples
5 c sugar
1 c 5% White vinegar
Preparation

Peel and slice apples.
Put five cups of sugar on apples. (Mix well) Let stand over night.
The next morning, add 1 c white vinegar (5%).
Cook one hour or until tender.
Place in pint jars, heat the lids.
Place in a water bath for 15 minutes.
