Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. water
    1 (No. 303) can small peas, drained
    1 can green beans, drained
    1 bunch celery, finely cut
    1 green pepper, finely cut
    1 jar pimento, chopped
    1 small onion, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can kidney beans, drained
Preparation
    Mix sugar, vinegar, oil and water together.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour liquid mixture over vegetables.
    Cover. Refrigerate.
    Yields 16 to 20 servings.
