Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 pastry shell (unbaked)
1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, syrup, vanilla and chopped nuts.
Mix well.
Turn into pastry shell.
Arrange pecan halves on top of pie.
Place on lower rack of oven.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until firm in center.
