Company Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans whole kernel corn
    4 oz. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento or parsley (for color, if desired)
    1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook onion briefly until soft, but not brown.
    Drain corn except for a small amount of liquid.
    Add to onion and cook for a few minutes.
    When you consider the corn done, drain excess liquid and add cream cheese.
    Stir until completely melted.
    Add decorative touches and serve.
