Sausage Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage (mild or hot)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. carrots, thinly sliced
    1 c. celery, thinly sliced
    1 can condensed cream of celery soup (10 3/4 oz.)
    1/2 c. milk
    2 c. cooked chicken, chopped
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a 2-quart casserole; set aside. Cook sausage, onions and celery in a large skillet until sausage is browned; drain.
    Combine soup and milk.
    Stir soup and chicken into sausage mixture; set aside.
    In mixing bowl, cut butter into flour with fork until it resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add milk and stir with fork only until dough leaves side of bowl.
    Press half the dough into bottom of prepared casserole.
    Pour sausage mixture over dough.
    Drop remaining dough by spoonful over casserole.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
