Peanut Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 unbeaten egg
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 bag solid milk chocolate candy kisses

Preparation

Mix thoroughly; shape by teaspoonfuls into balls.
Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and place solid candy kiss on top of each cookie, pressing down so cookie cracks around the edge. Return to oven 2 to 5 minutes until light golden brown.
