Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium potatoes, diced
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 small can clams, diced
    1/4 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion, celery, parsley, water and salt in saucepan.
    Cook on low until vegetables are tender.
    Mash some of the potatoes with a fork.
    Drain clams, reserving juice.
    Add clams and milk to vegetable mixture; heat just to boiling. Combine clam juice and flour, making a smooth paste.
    Stir into chowder; heat until slightly thickened.
    Stir constantly.
