Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (1/4-inch) sirloin tips, cut in serving-size pieces
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 garlic clove
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 beef bouillon cube
    1 c. hot water
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    1 large green pepper, sliced in rings
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Add onions and garlic last minute.
    Season. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water and add meat.
    Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and green pepper.
    Cook 10 minutes longer.
    Combine remaining ingredients and stir into meat. Bring to boil.
    Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes longer. Serve with hot Chinese noodles or rice.
