7-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Beat until fluffy.
    Add flour and salt; fold in lemon extract and 7-Up.
    Pour into tube pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
    Do not open oven door until done.
