Apple Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3 c. peeled, chopped apples
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped pecans
Caramel Glaze

Preparation

Combine sugar, oil, eggs, soda, flour, apples, vanilla extract and pecans.
Mix well. Spread evenly in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Pour Caramel Glaze over warm cake. Cool.
Cut into squares for serving.
