Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 oz. red coloring
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar, eggs and flavorings.
    Make a paste of cocoa and food coloring.
    Add first mixture.
    Alternate flour and buttermilk.
    Add soda and salt.
    Add vinegar; beat until blended well.
    Bake in three layers at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
