Seared Asparagus With Portabella Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. asparagus, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
    1 lb. fresh Portabella mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 pinches crushed red pepper flakes
    1/4 tsp. salt
    freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oil with salt and red pepper flakes over high heat in a large skillet.
    When very hot, add asparagus and mushrooms.
    Cook, shaking often, until tender and asparagus begins to brown. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
