"Not" Fried Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    1 c. broken pecans
    1 stick butter or oleo
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
Preparation
    Put cereal, coconut, pecans and oleo in a long shallow pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes until toasted, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven. Add brown sugar and stir. Place half in 13 x 9 pan evenly. Add 1-inch thick slices of softened ice cream and other half of mixture. Pat down and freeze.
