Chattanooga Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef roast
    1 Tbsp. oil
    4 c. water
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1/3 c flour mixed with 3/4 c. water or gravy flour
Preparation
    Brown roast in oil in Dutch oven, turning to coat all sides. Add 4 cups of water and bouillon cubes.
    Sprinkle onion soup mix over top.
    Simmer 3 1/2 to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
    Add more water as needed.
