Chocolate Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
Preparation

Place corn syrup and sugar into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Add Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated. Press mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Set aside. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over cereal mixture. Let stand until firm and cut into bars when cool.
