Baked Hamburgers In Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground beef
2 eggs
1/4 lb. grated cheese
3 slices bread, broken
1 small onion
2 medium cans tomato paste, thinned with a little tomato juice
pinch of sugar

Preparation

Mix the first 5 ingredients into patties.
Put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Thin tomato paste with a little tomato juice.
Add pinch of sugar; bring to a boil.
Pour tomato paste mixture over burgers. Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven until sauce begins to brown and burgers are brown on top.
Carefully turn burgers to brown bottom.
