Date And Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. English walnuts (whole meats)
    2 lb. dates, separated but left whole
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten separately
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Mix together walnuts and dates. Add egg yolks and dry ingredients.
    Add egg whites last. Bake in loaf pans at 325\u00b0 for one hour.
