Frosted Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (17 1/4 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry (1 sheet)
    1/2 c. canned chocolate frosting
    1/4 c. finely chopped pistachio nuts or pecans
Preparation
    Thaw pastry for 20 minutes at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
    Unfold pastry.
    Cut on the 3 fold lines. Then cut each piece crosswise into 7 rectangles (21 total). Arrange pastry rectangles on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Prick several times with a fork.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
    Transfer to a wire rack.
    Stir 3 to 4 teaspoons water into chocolate frosting.
    Spoon frosting over tops of warm pastries.
    Immediately sprinkle with nuts.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Makes 21 pastries.
