Caramel Icing(Make 1-2-3-4 Cake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter (no substitute)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation

Cook and brown like you want it, stirring constantly.
Have ready 1 cup Carnation milk, warmed.
Add this to the butter and sugar mixture.
This will cause the mixture to be lumpy.
Cook slow and stir until it boils.
Cook about 10 minutes.
Take off heat and beat with mixer.
(I test by adding a few drops in cup of cold water.)
