Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. pickling spice or 1 tsp. cloves, 1 tsp. allspice and 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and bring to boil.
Pour over beets and boil for 10 minutes, then pack in jars and seal.
